Hello!
Art and the Outdoors, two words to describe the season that Sven and I are in. We've been up to a lot since we wrote last. Our usual routine each year is that come October we both are leading our separate training schools. Andreas; The Art Evangelists School and Svens; the FrontLine Discipleship Training School. I have 7 students in my school and Sven has 8.
A couple weeks ago Sven was able to take his school on a hike through the Aussie bush as he also spoke on the topic of Lordship. It was his first time teaching for a whole week and he did excellent! They had an enjoyable time together being out in the bush, hanging out, getting attacked by ticks and knowing God more through the beautiful creation and the teaching.
As The Art Evangelists School, we've been looking our role as ones who bring beauty to the world, our responsibility to bring life and hope to a world that's so in need of it. Our gift has the power to make a huge difference, when we use it for more than ourselves. We just completed a big painting on a wall, all 8 of us painting together challenged our unity and gave us a good idea of what our outreach will be like because we do a lot of stuff like that. The 7 girls have been developing thier drawing skills by doing 3 sketches a week, as well as being trained by different instructors on their skill and developing their character. I've been enjoying taking an afternoon a week to teach the students different drawing techniques. I'm excited for how they have been and will be a blessing with their gift.
We are starting the next phase of our schools soon with our outreach (aka Missions trip). Our teams will be in different parts of Asia and Australia during the months of Jan to March. We ask that as we communicate about this more that you'd help us to be safe with your words such as anything 'christianese' or the names of the places we are going. You can do this by putting a dash - in between letters. Such as G-od. Yep like that. Thanks!
I will be going for the whole trip, Sven will be going for 4 weeks.
Always grateful for your love and support through all we do. We would appreciate your prayers and further support as we continue on forward.
Lots of love,
Andrea and Sven
